Small Claims Application

The Court also handles landlord/tenant matters that may result in an eviction as well as a money judgment for past due rent.  These cases may also be filed any Wednesday during regular office hours.

Forms: The forms necessary for initiating a Landlord/Tenant Proceeding can be obtained from a stationary or office supply store, obtained from an attorney or from other publications available at the Lewis County Law Library located in the Lewis County Courthouse.

You may wish to retain an attorney to handle this for you, or you may choose to use the Do-It-Yourself forms program provided by the NYS Unified Court System.

(The Court does NOT supply these forms)
