NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Section 506 and 1526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
HEARING OF COMPLAINTS
Notice is hereby given that as of May 1, 2021, the Assessor(s) of the Town of Lowville , County of Lewis, have completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year, and that a copy has been left at Town Clerk’s Office where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until Grievance Day. The tentative assessment roll is also available for viewing on the town’s website – www.lowville.racog.org or the Lewis County website- www.lewiscounty.org per requirement of RPTL section 1590(2)
The assessor(s) will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll at the
Lowville Town Offices, 5533 Bostwick St, Lowville on the following days:
Monday, May 3 4pm-8pm; by appointment only
Tuesday, May 4 11am-3pm; by appointment only
Tuesday, May 11 10am-2pm; by appointment only
Saturday, May 15 10am-2pm; by appointment only

Grievance Day may or may not be held as usual depending on State mandated restrictions. At the very least the Board of Assessment Review will receive all complaints with written material. Please stay safe.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 27, 2021 at the following times:
4 pm to 8 pm
at the Lowville Town Offices, 5533 Bostwick St, Lowville, in said town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the application of any persons believing him/herself to be aggrieved.
Applications for filing a complaint and instructional booklets are available from your assessor, town clerk, the Lewis County Real Property Tax Service Agency or by downloading the forms at https://www.tax.ny.gov/pit/property/contest/contestasmt.htm.
